The master's thesis is devoted to the analysis of benefits and risks from the implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Standard in Latin America and the Caribbean countries. The author assesses the impact of mplementing transparency of the extractive sector on the economic well-being of the EITI icountry, namely, on the level of corruption, poverty level, economic growth rates and investment climate.
