This thesis is devoted to the study of the impact of military and political cooperation between Russia and China on the situation in the Asia-Pacific region. In the modern world, most countries seek cooperation, whether economic, political or military. In view of the fact that new players are entering the international arena, the issue of forming and observing the mechanisms of national, regional and international security is becoming more urgent. The relevance of the work is explained by the ever-growing influence of the Asia-Pacific region in the world, as well as by the actively developing diplomatic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. In view of the growing role of the APR, the strengthening of various integration groups in the region, it becomes important to study the military-political ties of the two states both in the world and specifically in the Asia-Pacific region. In connection with the growth of the political and economic role of the PRC, it seems important to study the situation in Asia, the interests and motives of China's policy. Also, the special position of the states in the region, the possible prospects for cooperation of states with a complicated history of relations, at the moment, justifies the need to study this issue. In this paper, were examined the main stages of the relations between Russia and China, the mutual interests of countries, and forecasts about the cooperation of states in the future.
