Demand for the Skills on the Russian Labor Market

The labor market in Russia is a topic widely discussed by experts and society, which includes a lot of aspects. The Russian labor market shows a sharp increase in demand for education, but enterprises do not have time to adapt to the supply of highly skilled labor. As a consequence, there is a disconnect between supply and demand of skills. There is a problem of excessive education. There is a problem of excessive education. In this paper, using the descriptive statistics and regression analysis, the problem of skills deficit is investigated, as well as factors that affect the probability of skills shortage in the enterprise.
