Global Processes Monitoring System Design Based on Internet News

The paper presents an approach to the construction and analysis of visual models of processes by isolating the cause-effect relationships between real-world events, information on which is presented in the Internet news feeds. Since the Internet is the most complete source of information describing almost all phenomena of reality, any group of events that are within the circle of the user's interest can be defined as the analyzed area. The first chapter of the work includes a general statement of the problem and a review of the existing methods of solution, their implementation. In the second chapter, the proposed approach is described in detail, the conceptual model of the system and the structure of ontological resources forming the knowledge base are described. The third chapter presents the results of approbation of the developed approach using existing tools. The amount of work is 121 pages, including 4 tables, 27 figures and 3 applications. At the writing of the work 44 sources were used.
