Breakfast and Lunch in Old Russian Chronicles

The paper considers literary and cultural issues connected with lunches and breakfasts mentioned Old Russian chronicles. It studies the pragmatic of reference and description of lunches and breakfasts in Old Russian chronicles. Also it shows how Ancient Russian lunch and breakfast ceremonies can be partly reconstructed through the analysis of meals' description and identifies and analyses particular characteristics of mentioning and description of lunches and breakfasts in Old Russian chronicles.
