Development of Restaurant's Business Plan

The result of this qualification paper is the developed business plan of a new catering enterprise in the casual dining segment. While writing this work, the following tasks were performed: - the theoretical base on the topic has been studied and analyzed; - the analysis of competitors was made; - the forecast of the sales volume and the plan of sales have been made; - a marketing company and its budget have been developed; - a production and investment plan has been drawn up; - the organizational and functional structure of management is described; - a financial plan was developed; - possible risks were assessed. The business idea of the new project is to create a casual dining restaurant with democratic prices and fast service, where visitors are offered tasty, healthy complex breakfasts, brunches on the buffet system and a choice of menu dishes from organic and organically grown products. To implement the project, an investment of 8185,3 thousand rubles will be required. Thus, a business plan was developed and compiled for 5 years. From the analysis of project performance indicators it follows that: 1. Payback period of 36 months indicates a fairly rapid return of funds invested in the project. 2. Return on investment is 37%, which indicates the effectiveness of the combined funds and an acceptable level of profitability. 3. Net cash income for 5 years amounted to 11219,9 thousand rubles. 4. The internal rate of return is 44%, which is higher than the required rate of return on invested capital. Conclusion: this project is attractive and cost-effective. To sum up, the goals and objectives of qualification paper were fulfilled, because the business plan of a new catering enterprise was developed and a conclusion was made about the attractiveness and profitability of the project.
