The purpose of this thesis is to develop a business plan for the project and to evaluate its economic effectiveness. Within this broad purpose, the following objectives are expected to be fulfilled: -Assess the current level of the unmanned aerial vehicles use development in the transport and logistics industry and consider experience of companies operating in this field. -Describe the main problems, limitations, and conditions of unmanned vehicles exploitation within which cargo transportation will be conducted. -Create a production plan and, on its basis, a financial project plan. During writing the current paper, it was established that today, there are already a lot of companies on the market that have significantly advanced in the field of the unmanned aerial vehicles use in logistics. Nevertheless, the development of unmanned devices implementation has not yet become widespread. It is hampered by such barriers as rigid legislative regulation, lack of necessary infrastructure, and a number of operational risks associated with certain technical limitations of the drones. The market analysis showed that, at the moment, the drones could be effectively used for the rapid delivery of medicines and biomaterials, in cases of emergencies elimination, for transporting goods to hard-to-reach areas, and in such narrow segments as ice reconnaissance, installation of explosive devices in the mountains for the organization of preventive avalanche. Finally, as a result of the current thesis, a business plan was developed for the project implementation for delivering small-size goods with drones, for which documents such as a marketing plan, a production plan, an organizational plan, a risk plan, and a financial plan were designed. The project’s economic efficiency analysis showed that it had an acceptable level of risk, positive net present value, and a high profitability index, which demonstrates its eventual investment attractiveness.
