Year of Graduation: 2017

The present project refers to the research in the sphere of microwave technology. The main purpose of the paper could be defined as following: to prove that the proposed microwave installation evenly heats the polymer composite pipes throughout the volume. The study focuses on the proof of the effectiveness of microwave radiation. The overall goal of the project has achieved using special software ANSYS HFSS for simulation in the microwave range. The first Chapter is dedicated to the study the processes of heat treatment of polymer composite materials. The last part is dedicated to the analysis of the obtained results. The last Chapter of this work includes graphs. They are obtained using the software ANSYS HFSS. This study has the following results: 3-D model of the microwave setup and the characteristics of the temperature distribution inside the polymer material. Based on the results of the simulations were constructed and analyzed graphs of the temperature distribution inside the polymer composite rod.
