The work depicts a process of designing a research portal for English academic paper style analysis and evaluation system based on text corpora. The portal is targeted at linguists, who do research on usages of academic style markers in texts, as well as authors, who want to check style in their scientific publication and get recommendations for improving its style and readability, using a corpora as a reference. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and appendices. The first chapter contains an overview of existing methods and tools for academic text style analysis and corpus processing tools. The second chapter deals with extracting functional and non-functional requirements for the portal. The third chapter contains the results of designing the portal, its architecture and interface. The work contains 67 pages of A4 format, 22 illustrations, 4 tables and 6 pages of appendices.
