The following work is a comparative analysis of post-Soviet television "makeover fashion shows". These shows are divided by the old and the new type, and nowadays there is a gradual transition from the first type to the second in the European part of the post-Soviet space. The shows of the old type are represented by the programs "Take it off immediately" and "For 10 years younger", and the new type by the show "Vid Patsyanki Do Panyanki" (From Ladette to Lady).
