Student: Galimov Timur

Supervisor: Alexey A. Mitsyuk

Faculty: Faculty of Computer Science

Educational Programme: Software Engineering (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

The result of this work is a client-server mobile application the main idea of which is to help users memorize information of any kind. The application provides the user with a convenient way of adding and structuring information in the form of short notes and tags (labels) that can be attached to the notes. The whole application is designed to let the user store or find an arbitrary piece of information with the minimum effort required. The work contains an implementation of the data synchronization mechanism that is designed to work correctly with an unstable internet connection on the client side. At the moment of writing only the iOS client is implemented, but the system can (with no changes to the existing codebase) be expanded in future to support more platforms. The built solution consists of an iOS application that uses the Core Data framework for managing its data and is implemented using Swift 3, and a server side application implemented with the Google App Engine on Python 2.7 with NoSQL database Google Cloud DataStore.
