ANNOTATION: 1. The title of the theme of the Final Qualifying Work: "Improvement of the inventory management system based on the example of the production company LLC «Rockwool»" 2. Student: Lavrentyeva Daria Konstantinovna, School of Logistics, Faculty of Business and Management 3. Supervisor: Domnina Svetlana Viktorovna, Ph.D., Associate Professor 4. Keywords: stock management, heat insulating materials market, seasonality, inventory management models, deficit. The object of the study is the production company LLC "Rockwool." The goal of the Final Qualifying Work is to improve the inventory management system to increase the profitability of the manufacturing company. The paper analyzed the economic and logistical activities of the company in question, identified the main problems and reasons for overstated costs. The theoretical aspects have been analyzed and measures for improving the inventory management system have been developed (including increasing the accuracy of forecasting stock requirements, identifying priority product groups by means of ABC-XYZ analysis, determining the optimal batch size). To assess the economic feasibility of the developed activities, the Model of strategic profit was used. 5. Volume of the Final Qualifying Work: consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion and the list of literature (p.96, figures-34, tables-20, list of literature sources-28).
