Improving the Efficiency of Transportation Management in Supply Chain of the Global Company

Key words: logistics provider, outsourcing, controlling, key performance indicators, electronic data interchange, strategic profit model. The Graduation Thesis consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography and applications. The introduction outlines the general description of the research: the topicality of the problem, the purpose and the objectives, theoretical and practical significance of the research. The first Chapter includes the analysis of economic activity of the considered company "Calzru" Srl: analysis of financial and economic indicators, analysis of logistics activities and the identification of the problems of transportation management in the supply chain of the company. The second Chapter describes the key approaches and best practices of transportation management in supply chains. The third Chapter includes the procedures of improving the efficiency of transportation management: increasing the integration of logistics providers in the supply chain of the company, process improvement of the transportation management. The conclusion outlines the main findings and results achieved in the framework of the Graduation Thesis. The volume of the Graduation Thesis - 115 pages, including 25 figures, 10 tables, 2 appendices. References – 26.
