The Development of an Inventory Management System for DIY Retailer Company "OBI"

The work is dedicated to the improvement of the inventory management system in the retail construction materials company. The work consists of three parts. The first part includes analysis of the internal and external environment of the enterprise. The result of the first part is to identify the main problems in the logistics activities of the company and offer the suggestions to eliminate them. The second part consists of the literature review, the analysis and a comparison of approaches to inventory management system, the development of stock management procedures based on the approaches and best practices. The third part includes the practical application of this procedure on the company's stocks. The work concludes with an analysis of economic efficiency, which proves the economic feasibility of the proposed solutions.
