The Efficiency of Government Debt as an Instrument of State’s Economic Policy

In this work, it will be considered whether the state debt influenced the main macroeconomic indicators of the country, how it affected the country's exit from the crisis, whether the national debt provides advantages over other countries. Based on the data from 2003 to 2015, a multiple regression is constructed that shows the dependence of GDP growth rate on independent variables such as: debt, Constant Price, Export, Import, Government Budget, CPI, Unemplozment rate, Foreign Direct Investment, Producer Prices, Productivity Price . Chapter 1 describes two main economic strategies for public debt and its impact on the economy. In Chapter 2, based on actual data, provides an analysis of macroeconomic indicators in Russia in the period from 2003 to 2015. In Chapter 3, a regression model is constructed. In Chapter 4, conclusion was made. As can be seen from that research the government debt in Russia is an important tool for recovering from the crisis through increasing the GDP level and economic wealth at all.
