Project Knowledge Management: Game Theory Approach

In the modern world with rapid growth of technology, innovation, speed and complexity the role of information and knowledge is becoming more crucial for business. Knowledge is now considered to be one of the most important resources providing a competitive advantage and thus contributing to the company’s performance and success of its projects. This dissertation reflects the current level of project knowledge management development, describes stages of an organisational knowledge management system introduction and presents game theory perspective on knowledge management. A new theoretical model of factors influencing knowledge sharing is developed and initially verified through the principal component analysis. The practical implications of the model and its limitations are also considered as well as the potential of further research in the field.
