Visualization of Educational Texts in the Structure of Training Tutorials for Undergraduates

ANNOTATION Possible changes in publishing process organization focused on visualization of educational texts for higher school is analyzed in the thesis the Olga V. Yartseva. Visualization of educational texts in textbooks for high schools (HSE — Saint-Petersburg, North-West Institute of Management, Oxford University) were examined in the paper. Results of questionnaire survey of all participants of the publishing process (tutors, professors, undergraduate students), regarding their views on the possibility of educational texts visualization are described. The analysis revealed that the visualization capabilities of educational texts are used partially. It is concluded that publishing process organization can be a factor of visualization quality improvement of learning texts. Currently, publishing process is not focused on influencing the visualization of educational texts but on traditional tasks. Changes in publishing structure organization by expanding specialists’ functions are necessary. Volume and structure of the thesis: the work is stated on 121 pages of the typewritten text, illustrated with 37 drawings, contains 4 tables, 5 annexes. The work consists of introduction, three chapters comprising 9 sections, conclusion, list of references, including 91names.
