The Phenomenon of Private Orthodox Schools in the Metropolis

Final qualification work is dedicated to the problem of the specifics of private Orthodox schools in the metropolis (Moscow). Based on the method of case-study is characterized by the history of the schools, their founders, contingent, families, chain of command and the management of schools, teaching staff, training and extra classes, the Orthodox component in the life of schools, particularly «Orthodox» module of the curriculum. Then the school is considered in the reflection of the different target groups: founders, parents, teachers, administration and graduates. The results of the study may promote to the development of the universal model strategy for further development of Orthodox schools in the metropolis.
