The Development Strategy of the Faculty of Management of the Southern Federal University
Management in Higher Education
The aim of the work is to formulate a strategy for the development of the structural subdivision of the federal university, namely the Faculty of Management of the Southern Federal University, taking into account the actual needs of the federal university in the conditions of innovative development. The paper reveals the main theoretical aspects of the formation of effective competitive strategies, indicators and methods for their achievement, as well as analytical tools of strategic management. In the final work, a pre-project analysis is carried out, which includes a description of the internal and external environment of the university as a whole, and the faculty of management in particular, presented by the strategic analysis of the interaction of the University with its counterparties, shows the strengths and weaknesses of the faculty of management. In this work the programs of strategic development of a number of international and national educational institutions are analyzed, problems of personnel, scientific and innovative provision of the faculty of management are studied. The substantiation of the direction of the strategic development of the faculty of management including the description of the functional components of its implementation was carried out. A choice was made in favor of the diversification strategy, which is a competitive strategy for the development of the faculty of management, namely, the creation of an entrepreneurship school in SFedU.
