Designing the Staged Model of School Education in Moscow Regional Educational Center

The main goal of this work is to design the staged model of school education in Moscow educational centers. We present the development and overview of the staged model in form of “school of age” in historical retrospective, based on psychological and pedagogical concept of L. Vigotsky and the work of his followers. In this work, we consider the significance and relevance of designing a staged model in educational facilities of Moscow city, as well as looking into historically formed facilities that have been adopting the ideology of said stage model for the last 30 years. Based on said psychological and pedagogical concept and Krasnodar city gymnasium №1 “Universe” cases, as well as cases based on Moscow educational facilities, we have formulated the basis for designing the model, presented the development of grading system of the staged model in Moscow educational facilities. The final qualifying work is an empirical study. Its data will become the basis for development of methodical recommendations for each stage of the model. The results of the study are to be used by educational facilities when creating the development strategy. This is the first ever empirical study on this topic. A toolkit for assessment of the staged model of school education has been developed and tested during the research.
