Abstract: The dissertation research is built around the problem of migration outflow from the Siberian Federal District. Despite the fact that the level of local and regional identity in the population is high in Siberia, an outflow of population is observed in the region. Most young people leave the region. This study is aimed at identifying the links between regional identity and the territorial attractiveness of the region. The dissertation research was carried out within the framework of the methodology of social constructivism using qualitative methods of collecting and analyzing the empirical base. The study concludes with factors that could have an impact on increasing the territorial attractiveness, as well as recommendations on increasing the attractiveness of SFO subjects.
