Ways of Improvement of Logistics Strategy in Pharmaceutical Company (on the Example of Farmann LLC)

The relevance of the theme of the master's thesis. In the conditions of high market competition and variety of applied corporate strategies, companies are trying to create logistics strategies that help achieve corporate goals of the company, as well as transform basic logistics strategies for a specific company. To date, to implement these aspirations on the market, there are many tools successfully implemented in various business areas, based on which management can develop an individual logistics strategy that meets specific objectives, taking into account the limitations of both the industry and the company. In the pharmaceutical industry, the issue of efficient construction of a logistics system is particularly acute, as there are a number of restrictions, both at the company level and on the state, regarding the conditions for transportation, storage and the conditions for the sale of pharmaceutical and medical products. According to expert estimates, the share of logistics costs in the company can reach 45% of the total cost level in the company. At the same time, it is not always necessary to address the issues of logistics strategy. Often, the logistics strategy is either not defined in the company, or is in conflict with the overall corporate strategy. Degree of elaboration of the problem. Theoretical and applied questions connected with the development of logistics strategy are considered in the works of a number of domestic and foreign authors and are related to such areas of research as the influence of logistics strategy on overall business development, the types and conditions of choice of logistics strategies and methods for assessing the effectiveness of use. The purpose of the master's work is the development and theoretical substantiation of the logistics strategy for the pharmaceutical company. The object of the study is the logistics system of the pharmaceutical company OOO Farmann.
