The Issue of Harassment in Russian and Foreign Media: Stories, Frames and Images

This study is an attempt to discern the nature of media coverage of sexual harassment scandals from 2017 to present. The main research strategy in the study of media representations of sexual harassment is discourse analysis.It is anticipated that the media representations vary between the sources. Additionally, the question of the differences in the representation of the stories between Russian and Western media is posed. The research consists of the two main parts: theoretical and empirical. The first one is divided into three paragraphs, with the review of the literature available on different aspects of the topic. The empirical part consists of two paragraphs corresponding with the above-mentioned research strategy. Key words: sexual harassment, Harvey Weinstein.
