Transformation of the Film Screening on the Leading Soviet and Russian TV Channels

Despite the active developing of non-television platforms that allow spectators to form media consumption on their own, a part of them still prefer to follow broadcasting schedule. Pay attention to transformation of the TV broadcasting because of regime changes and changes in forms of ownership it should be noticed that film yet can be considered as a pivotal and valuable element of the broadcasting schedule. The present research is planned to prove it with accurate figures and numbers. The content analysis of the broadcasting schedule during sixty years will assist to figure out the most significate changes in the program policy of leading Soviet and Russian TV channels; the method of expert interview is used to explain the possible reasons and effects from transformation of film screening. The achieved results can be used by media managers, advertisers and cinema distributors for solving problems in their professional spheres.
