This work is devoted to the convergence of various types of media in video games. The study is conducted on the example of two projects: The Wolf Among Us, Telltale Games (2013) and What's left of Edith Finch / What Remains of Edith Finch (2017). The main goal of the work is to investigate the use of elements of different media types in video games of the genre of interactive cinema and their convergent relationships. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of media, convergence, and their definition is derived, which is necessary to narrow the topic and clearly determine the subject of research. In the practical part, the content of selected video games is analyzed and concrete examples of convergence are discussed in detail. The author also conducted a series of semi-structured in-depth interviews, the results of which provided additional material for analysis and allowed verifying the main hypothesis of this work.
