The Role of Human Capital in Economic Development

The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of human capital on the country's economic development. The graduation qualification work is divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter is theoretical. It deals with the notion of "human capital", the widespread methods for its evaluation and a review of the literature. The second chapter is devoted to construction of the Index of Human Capital and the rating of countries, also division the countries into 3 parts using cluster analysis. The third chapter contains 62 regression models based on the panel data (59 countries and 3 years). The work contains 25 tables, 4 figures and 3 applications.
