Year of Graduation: 2018

The main aim of my project is considered to be the development of available for various income classes and target groups, ecologically friendly children furniture-constructor. Working on the project, I have identified several key aspects, playing the most important role in long-term exploitation of children furniture, they are following: variability, utility and availability. Otherwise, that is why the major issue of the project is to create furniture, correlating with all of the mentioned aspects. Thus, taking into consideration these points, the preference in choosing the materials and the principle of construction was given to simple, non-expensive and ecological materials like plywood and thin metallic tubes, which provides maximum possible stability of the construction. Moreover, even though the design seems to be quiet minimalistic, the project looks interesting and can be adapted both to different age groups of children and wide range of interior color solutions. Also, even if the principle of fixation is very simple, it allows to create wide range of different configurations by assuring appropriate measure of stability of the construction. Consequently, focusing on the results of work, I would like to point out that most of the aims was achieved and issues was solved by creating multifunctional furniture-constructor, adapting to ergonomic and practical needs of a particular child. Finally, turning to the recommendations to the project, it was suggested to use it more effectively, extending the area of usage by the adaptation of furniture both for children living environment, and public recreational spaces.
