The research is dedicated to finding any connection between CEOs` personal traits and the stock return of their companies. The dataset uses information for the issuers listed on the Moscow Stock Exchange relevant for December 2017. The difference between mean annual market return (based on a MOEX index) and mean annual HPR serves as an explained variable. Age turned out to have a squared influence, education and professional degrees had a positive influence on the explained variable. Negative factors are tenure, number of children, stock ownership and a place of birth. Political party, as well as the number of interviews, were irrelevant.
