Protection of Personal Data of Employees (Athletes, Coaches, Managers of Sport Organizations) in the Formation of Applications for Participation in International Competitions

The Russian Federation is an active participant in international information exchange, including in the field of sports, which makes the task of protecting citizens ' personal data particularly relevant. Protection of personal data of employees of the sports organization (the staff of the organization) and also athletes, trainers, managers of teams, members of individual and collegial governing bodies of the organization in modern conditions, taking into account the latest events in the world of sports and charges of the Russian sport acquires the most actual value. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the unique practical experience of the Paralympic Committee of Russia, which is the first sports organization to apply all existing Russian legislation in the field of personal data and has created a unique list of documents in the field of personal data for a sports organization, as well as an Agreement on cross-border transfer of personal data, which have been successfully tested by the Federal service for supervision of communications, information technology and mass communications (Roskomnadzor). This work was positively noted not only by Roskomnadzor, but Also By the international Paralympic Committee (hereinafter - the IASC) and helped to successfully fulfill one of the most difficult criteria for the restoration of the RKC membership in the IASC, which involved the cross-border transfer of personal data of employees of the RKD apparatus, athletes, coaches, managers of the national team, members of It seems that this work will serve as a good help to sports organizations in a similar situation with the PKR, as well as other sports organizations, involving activities related to personal data.
