The relevance and importance of the selected topic for legal science and practice is conditioned by the need for a deeper analysis of the problem of conflict resolution and disputes in the field of sports of the Russian Federation. The object of the study are legal relations, which are multidimensional and complex, developing in the process of resolving conflicts and disputes in the field of sports. The subject of the study is the normative legal acts of the Russian Federation and foreign jurisdictions, as well as doctrinal judgments of scientists on the issues under study. Purpose and objectives of the study. The purpose of this work is to substantiate the features of conflict resolution and sports disputes in the Russian Federation on the basis of general theoretical provisions of legal science and practice, identify problems and prospects for its improvement, and consider the specifics of conflict resolution and disputes in foreign jurisdictions. Proceeding from the goals set in the work, the main tasks are identified: to identify the differences between the concepts of sports conflict and sports dispute; investigate the specifics of conflict resolution in the field of sports in pre-trial order; to consider the latest legislative changes, in the part of resolving sports disputes in the Russian Federation; to consider the experience of resolving conflicts and disputes of foreign countries. The methodological basis of the research is a complex of general scientific, as well as special methods for realizing the knowledge of legal reality. When writing the dissertation, the following methods were applied: the historical-functional method, the logical method, the comparative legal method, the formal legal method, the sociological and other research methods. The structure of the master's thesis is determined by the goals and objectives of the study and consists of an introduction, three chapters combining seven paragraphs, conclusions and a list of sources used.
