The following work, «Legal Regulation of Junior hockey» also as U18 Hockey Regulations, constitutes an exhaustive overview of youth league hockey. The relevance of this topic is clearly demonstrated by a lack of a comprehensive underlying legislative base. The goal of this research is to review and comprehend the current laws and regulations pertaining to U18 hockey, as well as analysing the surrounding system: coaching, medical services, players and agents and also overview the system of under 18 sledge hockey. Additionally, I will perform a comparative analysis of U18 hockey regulations in various countries. The main objective is to find and expose the issues with U18 hockey legislation in Russia, in order to gauge and identify possible solutions. Sports training in the Russian Federation is managed by a host of various bodies and based on a set of outdated regulations. The system as a whole exhibits the following characteristics: lack of a unified, consolidated approach to solving issues on a sporting level; administrative liabilities; redundant personnel and lack of responsibility; low synergy between governing bodies. This work contains thorough analysis of the current situation, an overview of existing regulations, original surveys, as well as a proprietary evaluation of relevant issues concerning U18 hockey in Russia. In order to achieve all the necessary goals and objectives, it is necessary to carry out a compete overhaul of the system in place, create exhaustive and inclusive training programs, provide medical services and equipment of the highest quality, as well as prevent doping and other forms of artificial enhancement. Thus, it is imperative to dedicate more time and resources to the development of U18 hockey in Russia in order to allow our country to be more competitive in this field.
