Employment of persons with disabilities in many countries is lower than for non-disabled persons. This is influenced by several factors: socio-demographic characteristics, obstacles from the demand and supply of labor, as well as health. In this paper we investigate the factors of employment of people with disabilities in Russia using RLMS HSE data for 2006-2016. As the result, we identify that health, level of education and disability benefits influence the probability of being employed among people with disabilities the most. Chronic illness turned out to be an insignificant factor.
