This final qualification work is devoted to the evaluation of evidence in court with the participation of jurors. The adoption of an objective, correct and fair decision in a criminal case depends to a large extent on the proper actions for the collection, verification and evaluation of evidence. Only on the basis of sufficient aggregate, the person accused of a crime is convicted and bears a heavy burden of punishment. Nevertheless, there are a number of practical difficulties that require a systemic and integrated solution.

The purpose of this work is to study a number of features and problems arising in practice, related to the evaluation of evidence by jurors.

The main objectives of the study:

• Identify the problems of criminal procedure in the field of assessing evidence in the courts with the participation of jurors;

• investigate the peculiarities of the work of jurors in the process of assessing evidence;

• explore the problem of the nullification of the law in cases involving juries.

As a result of the research, the following conclusions were made: the most acute problem is the multiple cancellation of acquittals by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Based on the verdict of the jury, the acquittal of the court must unchangeable .

Jurors are not prejudiced participants in criminal proceedings, which does not exclude the existence of each of them a unique life experience and attitudes. In contrast the professional judge, who is interested in the statistics of sentences, relations with the chairman of the court, the opinion of colleagues, the judiciary community and the position of the state, the people's representatives are not under pressure from these factors. Their verdict is based solely on inner conviction and conscience.
