Harmonisation of the Legislation on the Internet

At the moment, the Internet can be called the fastest growing media of all that has ever existed. However, special legislation in the field of the Internet is still in its initial stage of development. The subject of the research is the rules of international law regulating relations in the sphere of Internet usage as well as methods of international legal regulation of the Internet at the universal level. The purpose of the research is the analysis of public and legal aspects of international regulation of relations on the use of the Internet to determine possible ways and methods of ensuring the functioning and development of the Internet in accordance with the universally recognized principles and norms of international law. The study sets the following main objectives: to prove the need to regulate relations developing in connection with the functioning of the Internet; to analyze the effectiveness of the regulation of relations in the field of the Internet at the national level; to show that international law is now becoming an effective tool for regulating relations developing around the new object - the Internet; to summarize the results obtained so far of a number of international organizations and conferences that have had an impact on the development of the Internet. The goals and main objectives set in the study determined the structure and logic of the work, which consists of an introduction, three chapters, including seven paragraphs, conclusions, as well as a list of references, the total volume of the study is 66 pages, the list of literature contains 46 sources of Russian and foreign literature.
