The Analysis of Bancassurance in Russia and Europe

In the globalization of the modern financial market, there is an active development of insurance services not only to clients of insurance companies, but also to customers of banks. At the present time, in many countries of the world, as well as in Russia, the most common channel for selling insurance products is bancassurance, the growth trend of which has increased several times in recent years. The purpose of this work is to study trends in the growth and development of bancassurance in recent years in Russia and Europe. To achieve this goal, was used the analysis of annual reports on the situation of the bancassurance market of domestic and foreign rating agencies, as well as scientific articles on this topic. The relevance of this work is due to the fact that the Russian market of bancassurance in the period from 2010 to 2016 shows a rapid growth in sales of insurance products, but with the products – the leaders of sales each year changed, and the company - the leaders are almost none. In addition to the Russian market of bancassurance, a graphic analysis of bancassurance in Europe was conducted in this work. The main theoretical aspects of this market were considered and the strengths and weaknesses of European bancassurance were revealed.
