Specific Performance of Obligations

The study is analyzes the general rule of specific performance of obligations in Russia. The paper deals with the historical development of the Institute, its general characteristics. The paper supports the latest trends in Russian legislation aimed at establishing the general rule of specific performance of obligations in the general part of the law of obligations. It is noted that the rule has a dispositive character and has various restrictions of application, which have been examined in this paper.
