Pure Economic Loss in Tort Law

This study is one of the first attempts to systematic consideration of issues of compensation for pure economic losses in both foreign law and order and in the domestic one. European approaches to compensation from losses, their validity are analyzed. Also the political and legal arguments in favor of an exceptional rule of compensation for pure economic losses are considered . An expanded understanding of the structure of Russian tort liability, which is necessary for the compensation of pure economic loss, is submitted. Criteria for their recovery in the Russian realities is proposed.
