Current Problems of India Energy Diplomacy and a Place of Russia

The paper is dedicated to the reseach of the main problems in India energy sector which prevent the Republic from reachIng energy security. The author examines main national initiatives eaimed at developing the fuel and energy complex of the country. In the paper author reviews India's diplomatic ties with the main world energy-exporting countries and highlights the most efficient international projects. Special emphasis is given to the current stage of India-Russia energy relations. Author outlines the most vital joint projects in energy field and the latest tendencies and prospects of India-Russia energy relations.
