Data Journalism Study of Trends on Russian Labor Market: Demand and Supply Balance

The study represents the analysis of demand and supply balance on Russian labor market. It is based on official statistical data and core methodological approaches to gauging and modelling labor demand and supply. Data on vacancies from the local search labor engine hh.ru (Headhunter) is used here as a case study to show additional qualitative information toward labor demand. The main methods implemented in this work are descriptive, statistical techniques, web-scraping and interactive data visualization which are actively used in data-journalism.
