A Comparative Analysis of Business Models of Thematic Online Media

This work is devoted to the methods of monetization of thematic online media. The paper uses the latest marketing research in social networks and the media. The author shows that thematic media did not depart from the advertising model of monetization. And nevertheless, the major platforms are already beginning to test models pavella. Having conducted researches of the largest representatives of the Russian blogosphere and thematic media, the author compares the forms of monetization of their sites. The work takes into account the latest trends in the monetization of content and change the mechanics of platforms.
