This research observes different tendencies among students graduated with specialization in "media communications" in last 8 years. In this research you can find deep analysis of Russian media market and analysis of career development among students on this market. In addition, research was made with masters students with a specialization in "management in mass media" and with different HR-specialists. Results of this research is creating new terminology, such as: media, media sphere. Moreover, results are in finding problems with masters program "management in media" and there are some recommendations from graduated students. Key words: media, media sphere, labor market, career, career development, media communications.
