Our project work "The Launching of the Educational Project in the Internet" consists of two parts: the creative project and the theoretical note. In the creative part we developed the idea and created the Internet edutainment project for Gen Z schoolchildren. And in theory, we studied the main preferences of the Gen Z in the consumption of Internet video content. "Neophyte" is the edutainment project for Gen Z schoolchildren, presented in the format of an interactive YouTube web-series. In the web-series the story of the characters evolves during seasons from episode to episode, but also in every episode there is its mini-story. This form allowed us to pack educational elements into the real life of characters, which makes "Neophyte" not only the entertaining but also the learning project. With the help of our web-series, pupils will be able to repeat the material they received at school, or to learn a new one, in a fit for them format. In the theoretical part, we revealed the format and content preferences of Gen Z in the consumed video, and also determined the specificity of video consumption on the Internet by Gen Z. That is, answered the questions: "what" kind of video is preferable for Gen Z and "how" they consume it.
