Ways to Increase the Competitiveness of Russian Companies on the World Stainless Steel Market

The task of this graduation thesis is to present ways to increase the competitiveness of Russian companies on the world stainless steel market. The thesis consists of three main parts. To start with, theoretical and methodological aspects of the company's competitiveness will be considered. This section includes an overview of the role of the company's competitiveness in the modern economy, the factors that determine the competitive ability of companies on the world stainless steel market and the methodological approaches to assessing the company's competitiveness. Then, the competitive ability of Russian companies on the world stainless steel market will be analyzed by assessing the export potential of the Russian stainless steel industry and analyzing key participants on the Russian market. Finally, the production processes in Russia and China will be considered. As a result, ways to increase the competitiveness of Russian companies on the world stainless steel market will be proposed. The analysis will help to understand why Russian companies have practically no influence on the world stainless steel market and can not compete with global leaders of production and what is needed to be done in order to become competitive.
