Development of a System for the Automation of the Process of Bibliographic Information Downloading From the Websites of Scientific and Technical Journals

The present research refers to studies of data collection automation from the scientific and technical journals websites. The project will explain approaches of existing web-crawler or web-scrappers with open-source code and ways of storing gathered information. The general purpose of this project is to reveal advantages of Scrapy web-crawler, local storage method and development of automated crawler system. At first several web-sites crawlers was made, then their similarities were revealed and a universal crawler was developed using local data storage. The result could be helpful for practical purposes of scraping required articles from electronic libraries and publishers of scientific and technical journals.
