In this article, the problem of ensuring the liquidity of the crypto currency is considered. The characteristic features of the blockchain technologies, their economic characteristics and indicators are analyzed. An empirical study of the tokenization and release of smart assets was carried out. The necessity of the revaluation of the legal status of the crypto currency and the strong relationship between their liquidity and the ability to provide them with a real asset have been identified and justified.
