The Expansion of the Range of Objects of Civil Legal Relations (Economic-legal Analysis)

This study is devoted to the question of expanding the range of objects of civil legal relations and the inclusion of new objects of economic turnover in the active development of economic relations (especially in the digital economy), based on the methodology of "Law and Economics". The author considers both purely legal and economic aspects of this issue. Much attention is paid to the issues related to the new objects of the digital economy, created on the basis of blockchain technology. The characteristic of "merit goods (wants)" as objects of civil legal relations is considered. The paper presents a critical analysis of the draft laws on the regulation of cryptocurrencies and tokens.
