Features of Online Media Promotion in the New Media Environment

This work is focused to study current trends and techniques of media promotion in a dynamic digital environment, which offers new opportunities and at the same time creates new risks for the media. The theoretical part of the work presents information about the development of different types of new media, the main challenges and opportunities that appear to the Internet-media companies in connection with the development of new media as promotion channels and as points of connection with the audience. The second Chapter presents results of the collection and systematization of data on the experience of Internet-media companies' promotion in the Russian market and foreign markets. Collected data are subjected to a comparative analysis, which revealed the results and main differences in the approaches of different Internet media, were revealed positive experience and shortcomings. In addition, the second Chapter is devoted to empirical research using the method of expert survey. In conclusion, the author describes a possible model of successful promotion of Internet media among new media.
