Forensic Science in Civil Procedure

The paper deals with the problematic aspects of the appointment and production of expertise in the civil process. Fundamental similarities and differences in the legal status of the expert and specialist are revealed. The main attention is paid to the issue of legislative regulation of state and non-state experts and forensic organizations. On the basis of comparative analysis of the current legal regulation and the proposed innovations, an attempt is made to prove the need for appropriate changes in order to harmonize the requirements imposed on all subjects of forensic science.
