International Law and Prohibition of Interference with the Right to Privacy in the Internet

The relevance of the topic is defined by the current agenda, which raises issues of privacy, information security of a particular person and society as a whole, and extremely small amounts of systematic scientific research in this field. The purpose of this study was, firstly, to identify the general principles of international legal regulation of the Internet in the field of protecting privacy, secondly, to systematize and analyze the case practice international and national courts, in which such principles applied, thirdly, to identify regulatory development trends, facing the modern concept of the right to respect for private life. Through the analysis of international and national regulations, jurisprudence, the works of lawyers, sociologists, philosophers the study formulates the main features of the right to privacy, the problem of its applicability in the Internet. The author offers new concepts and approaches to the right to privacy in the conditions of modern technologies, and also he critically examines a modern law enforcement.
