This research is devoted to the factors for increasing the competitiveness of FMCG companies in terms of growing informatization of society. Consumers become more informed and selective in their choice. The FMCG market is highly competitive market that is why it is very important to react quickly to changes in consumer demand. The following hypothesis is checked: digital marketing and e-commerce are crucial in improving the competitiveness of FMCG companies at the present stage. The result of this research is development of practical recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of FMCG companies in the Russian market.
